I am a staff scientist at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST), working in the Information Theory, Probability, and Statistics Unit. Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile as well as Southern University of Science and Technology.

I received my PhD in mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2016, under the supervision of Prof. Idris Assani. 

The photo in the header was taken near the summit of Volcán Villarrica in the Lake Region of Chile. The photo of me was taken in front of the University Hall at the University of Oregon.
