Welcome to my website!

I am Ryo Makioka, a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the Pennsylvania State University.

My research interests are Applied Microeconomics, International Economics, Public Economics, and Development Economics. In particular, I have interests and am doing research on the impact of SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) on low-income households, and the impact of multi-national companies on people in hosting countries.
