About Us

Hosted by the 3rd largest Rotary District in the world, the Rotary Youth Leadership Experience (RYLE) connects a network of student leaders and problem-solvers to drive leadership development, interpersonal growth, and global citizenship across our region.

We aim to create lasting change and innovation – across the globe,  in our communities, and in ourselves.

What We Do

Our program is tailored to inspire and equip students with the skills and motivation to become phenomenal community leaders. At RYLE, campers will engage in thought-provoking discussions, work on hands-on experiential leadership activities, and generate dialogue with fellow participants. They also have the chance to network with other student leaders across District 5370 and make long-lasting friendships and connections!

Our goal

We aim to empower young individuals to become influential leaders who are committed to making a positive difference in their communities and the world at large.

Activities

RYLE focuses on experiential learning opportunities over the course of the 4-days. Through our workshops, sessions, and activities, campers learn different leadership skills, such as interpersonal growth, community-building, and global citizenship.

Students will be given ample opportunity to express their individuality and test their strengths as they explore concepts such as communication, goal-setting, public speaking, and teamwork in a supportive environment.

We plan to provide campers with the skills needed to work cooperatively through hands-on workshops and challenges that will exercise their newly acquired skills. This includes learning from top-notch keynote speakers, taking part in outdoor activities such as ziplining, and networking with other student leaders - all while being introduced to the various facets of Rotary International.

As they develop the 3 C’s (competency, confidence, and connections), we hope that students leave camp as better people than they were when they entered.
