For beginners, wearing the right attire for fencing practice is crucial for safety, comfort, and ease of movement. Here’s what a beginner should wear:
Top: A lightweight T-shirt or athletic shirt. Avoid heavy or bulky tops like sweatshirts.
Bottoms: Long athletic pants or sweatpants. Avoid shorts, jeans, or any restrictive clothing.
Footwear: Athletic shoes with non-marking soles. Avoid clogs, sandals, or boots, as they do not provide the necessary support or flexibility.
Fencing Gear: If provided, wear a fencing jacket, glove, mask, and other protective equipment as required.
Always check with your coach or club for specific guidelines or recommendations.
