Ryckie Wade is the NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Leeds Teaching Hospitals and the University of Leeds, UK. 

He has clinical and research expertise in hand and nerve surgery, and advanced MRI techniques for assessing neuropathy.

In addition, Ryckie is the Royal College of Surgeons Surgical Speciality Lead for Plastic Surgery, an accredited Statistician with the Royal Statistical Society, Co-Director of the EXSEL Scholarship Program at the University of Leeds and Associate Editor for Nature Scientific Reports.
