Some entrepreneurs build companies. Ryan Bowen Utah builds legacies. A self-made business leader who started young, Bowen has consistently turned unconventional ideas into powerhouse ventures spanning industries—water purification, hospitality, cannabis, real estate, and beyond.
Long before boardrooms and branding, Ryan Bowen Utah was flipping cars as a teenager—well before he even had a driver’s license. But it wasn’t just about profit. He was scanning the horizon for overlooked opportunities, driven by a hunger to innovate and a refusal to follow the status quo.
At just 19, Ryan had his first major breakthrough. In 1996, while most offices depended on bottled water, he envisioned something better—bottleless, purified systems that were cleaner, greener, and more efficient. That bold idea became Pure Water Solutions of America, now the world’s largest independent provider of bottleless water and ice systems.
Headquartered in Salt Lake City, the company serves Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, and Washington. Bowen’s commitment to service and sustainability transformed Pure Water into an industry benchmark, grounded in one core value: customer happiness.
Spotting a similar inefficiency in the commercial ice sector, Ryan Bowen Utah shook things up again. Rather than selling outdated, poorly maintained equipment, he introduced a lease-based model with purification and maintenance included—offering better performance and longer lifespan. The model not only improved quality for clients, but set new standards others are still racing to match.
In the late ’90s, Ryan expanded his portfolio through Bowen Investments, flipping homes and vehicles across the West Coast. As the market evolved, so did his focus—moving into hard money lending and then large-scale real estate development. Today, his investment portfolio includes over 25 successful ventures across wellness, tech, consumer goods, and hospitality.
More recently, Ryan Bowen Utah launched King B Distribution, a fast-growing brand portfolio offering premium legal THC, kratom, and functional mushroom products. With standout brands like Kush Kube, Kratom Kube, Shroom Kube, and LFG Kratom, the company is changing the game in alternative wellness.
King B won 1st Place for Best Utah Cannabis Edibles in 2024, a testament to its innovation, compliance, and market appeal.
Ryan’s creativity extends into hospitality, where he’s launched some of Utah’s most beloved eateries. His brunch empire—Sundays Best, Sunday School, and Brunch Me Hard—has earned accolades for Best Brunch, Best Cocktails, and Best Casual Dining. Meanwhile, Pica Rica BBQ was named Best New Concept of 2025 and now ranks among America’s top 10 BBQ joints.
For all his accomplishments, Ryan Bowen Utah remains grounded. He frequently speaks at prisons, rehabs, and youth outreach programs, using his story to inspire change. Every year, he donates to hundreds of families and stays active in his hometown of Tooele, Utah.
His leadership style—rooted in discipline, kindness, and unshakable optimism—has shaped not just successful companies, but stronger communities.
From hustling cars to building empires, Ryan Bowen Utah is the rare entrepreneur who doesn't just ride waves—he creates them. His ventures are bold, disruptive, and deeply human-centered. And as new opportunities emerge, one thing’s for sure: Ryan won’t follow the industry—he’ll redefine it.
