Studio Art- 4th Period A & B Day

Students are finishing their complementary color designs inspired by Frank Stella's nonobjective work. They must return their completed pieces back to their art folders by the end of the week.

Studio Art- 1st Period A & B Day

Students are beginning their analogous color studies. They are expanding on their understanding of the elements of shading to create a three-dimensional form utilizing only flat shapes of color.

Nonstudio Art- 2nd Period B Day

Students are exploring street art for this unit. The student must choose an artist that inspires them and create a work or presentation that reflects the artist's style in some way. This example incorporates the graphic colors and line work of Keith Haring.
