I was born in Memphis, TN & raised in Columbus, OH, a graduate of The Ohio State University, having studied film production. I moved to Washington, DC in 2012 to pursue a career in educational filmmaking. After working in the industry and completing a few projects most notably a Discovery Channel Shark Week special, Great White Highway, I choose to start an IT consulting business. Since moving to DC I have met my beautiful wife, Mariana, coached high school football at McKinley Technology, become a homeowner, got a dog, Summer, and a cat, Winter, and had the privilege to be elected as an Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner (5D01). I have spent the past decade in my neighborhood, Ivy City, mentoring kids and helping with the Summer Youth Employment Program. In 2022, I became the proud father to my daughter, Julia, who has been the inspiration to pursue a career as a teacher. I have always found my time coaching, mentoring and now parenting to being the most rewarding aspects of my life.Â
