The Winchester Adventure took place between March 31 and April 1. This was also part of a trip that took the whole week, so the "California Adventures" page will be pictures the rest of the trip. People who took part in the Winchester Adventure are Sylvia (RWDA), Jason & Melanie, Peter and Sally, and Heather (bobug). We started with an evening at the Hotel Valencia, and continued to a tour of the historic Winchester House, and finished with a lunch at Maggiano's Little Italy. As we were not allowed to have flash photography in the house, pics of people were challenging.

The Hotel Valencia

The Hotel Valencia was a wonderfully cromulent place to stay. We were across from Easter displays, and the hotel room was awesome. They brought us a fruit and cheese plate, champagne (which we gave to Mel), a diffuser and scented oil. For dinner, we went to Fogo de Chao, which was scrumptious. Sylvia managed to eat more than Belvita and Mango Dragonfruit syrup :)

April the First

Don't blame me. She knew what she was getting into when she went traveling with me. This DID take planning, particularly getting the bride's veil right, and getting all of the plastic bugs to socially distance. And, yes, she did walk into this when she went to get ready.
