Who we are
The club was founded in 1952 after World War II by local hams, primarily for swapping parts. At that time most Amateur Radio operators had to build their own radio gear since there was little or no commercially available equipment.
Today the club focuses on community service, emergency communication, public awareness and training.
The club is affiliated with the ARRL (American Radio Relay League) and currently has about 100 members.
