“KEEP YOUR FACE TO THE SUN AND YOU WILL NEVER SEE SHADOWS”

Inside Me empowers visually impaired students through a combination of education and livelihood training, operating under the principle that education and employment are fundamentally interconnected. A solid understanding of concepts is crucial for mastering any skill. While Indian blind schools typically cover all subjects except art, our initiative addresses this gap by incorporating visual concepts through drawing, allowing students to visualize what they learn in class.
We focus on training students’ minds to translate audio into visual, commencing with the simple act of holding a crayon and gradually advancing their ability to draw and write like their sighted peers. At Rashtriya Virjanand Andh Kanya Vidyalaya in New Rajinder Nagar, Delhi, Inside Me places significant emphasis on integrating robust skills with academic learning, particularly through drawing, to enhance our students' visual comprehension.
We are committed to the welfare of visually impaired students and understand the challenges that lie ahead, so preparing them from an early age. Our mission is to close the divide between the sighted and non-sighted worlds, fostering an empowered and self-sustaining future for our students in both education and livelihood skills, free from reliance on donations.
