head Swim coach - Lani meyer

• Head Coach/Assistant Coach for both Boy's and Girl's High School teams for over 10 years

• Age Group Coach with North Jeffco Swim Team for 5 years

• Masters Coach for Jeffco Aquatics Masters for 15 years

• CO Summer Club Coach for 10 years with Rolling Hills Country Club and Applewood Knolls Swim Teams

• Head Coach for USA Swim Team - YODA (YMCA's of Denver Aquaforce) for 5 years

Coaching philosophy: To develop better swimmers, as well as better human beings. This is done through hard work, dedication, discipline, learning, and being part of a team all while having fun!

HEAD DIVE COACH - KAREN RUBY

• Coach Karen Ruby was honored as the 2023 Boys CHSAA Dive Coach of the Year.  

• This is Karen’s third season as Head Coach for boy’s and girl’s high school. 

• Coaches for four Jefferson County schools, RV, Awest, Standley Lake and Pomona.  

• A former diver for the University of Hawaii from 1985-1989 after graduating Arvada West High School. 

• A few of her diving accomplishments:1989 Big West Champion in both 1m and 3m, a 4-year letter winner in both college and high school, and the 1989 Coaches Collegiate Award.  

• After graduating college, Karen was the assistant Diving Coach for the University of Hawaii, while working in marketing and advertising in Honolulu. 

• Karen works full-time marketing hospitality clients around the country and loves coaching. She enjoys her time at home with her husband, twin boys (Juniors at Ralston Valley), four dogs and a horse.
