COVID-19 UPDATE:

November 11th, 2020:

Families...we need your help keeping school going with the hybrid model through the next couple weeks is critical in helping to ensure we have no learning loss as a result of the COVID pandemic. We are using all district transportation options available to us to keep the schedule as consistent as possible. PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILDREN UP AND READY when the ride arrives. The on-site learning time allows us to provide strategic instruction that helps all students be successful with their remote extension work and provides needed routine, equitable access to devices and internet, and instruction by the most incredibly talented and resourceful team of teachers I've had the privilege to work with.

We currently have no confirmed cases of coronavirus within our school community. Minimizing group sizes and the mixing of groups helps us maintain the health of all families. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD COMES EVERY DAY. With last spring's shutdown it is that much more important we get the time with your child(red) to catch up on missed skills and to keep them moving forward. Our success requires your support, and we are so thankful for your patience and understanding.

Our Class

"Don't Be a Bully"

For Red Ribbon Week last year, the Dixon 5th Graders decided to create an anti-bullying video with the help of some friends. The video was completely scripted, filmed, directed, and enacted by the 5th graders, with a tiny bit of help from Mr. Rutz. Enjoy!

BNN10 - Bison News Network

This year has had it's struggles and triumphs. Through it all, our students in Dixon have remained resilient and triumphed over the difficulties. One way that they have come together in a big way is by creating the first student news broadcast that Dixon has had. Here is our latest installment of BNN10, Ep. 5. Enjoy!
