I'm a linguist interested in the linguistic, social, and cultural aspects of language endangerment and resilience, with a focus on languages of North and Central America.

I'm currently a doctoral candidate in Linguistics at the University of California, Berkeley. My dissertation research examines the role of emotions and motivation in language reclamation and revitalization.

I've previously worked as Senior Research Associate for the Office of Head Start, Program Manager for Recovering Voices at the Smithsonian Institution, and Language Program Coordinator for the Karuk Tribe.
