I'm a linguist interested in the linguistic, social, and cultural aspects of  language endangerment and resilience, with a focus on languages of North and Central America. 

I currently manage scholarly engagement for the Center for Native American and Indigenous Research at the American Philosophical Society.  

I've previously worked as Senior Research Associate for the Office of Head Start, Program Manager for Recovering Voices at the Smithsonian Institution, and Language Program Coordinator for the Karuk Tribe.
