• 9:00am - 3:00pm: lectures, demos, and hands-on practice (with 1-hour lunch break)
• 3:00pm - 5:00pm: unstructured time to work through examples and ask questions

Cost:

The workshop is free, and coffee and lunch will be provided by the Rutgers Department of Physics and Astronomy.

Participants will need to arrange and pay for their own transportation to the Rutgers campus. This is a one-day workshop, so no lodging will be provided.

Accessibility:

Serin Hall has a wheelchair-acessible entrance on the ground floor and elevators that access the third floor, where the workshop will be held. Please email us at rutgers.jwst@gmail.com if you have any accessibility concerns.

Getting There:

• See descriptions of various routes on the Rutgers Department of Physics and Astronomy website.
• Car: Parking will be available in Lots 53A & 64. You must register your vehicle before arriving on campus!
• Train: Take NJ Transit to New Brunswick Station. From there, either take Uber/Lyft/taxi to Serin Hall on Busch Campus (~10 minute drive) or take the free Rutgers Campus Shuttle (Route A to Hill Center stop, or Route H to Allison Road Classrooms stop) from the Scott Hall stop in front of the Starbucks on College Avenue, a ~5 minute walk from the train station.
