CHANGING/ADDING CLASSES
Go to Schedule of Classes, WebReg, and/or Course Schedule Planner to view class meeting times and professor names before the first week of school.
IT'S UP TO YOU - you can use any one of three or a combination of them. They all show important class information but the differences are explained below.
Wait to add/drop classes until the first week of classes. More slots may open during this time.
USE the "Course Sniper" app to get notifications when a section that you want opens.
Use ratemyprofessors.com or Rutgers SIRS to see student reviews of the professors from past semesters.
Remember the index number AND section number.
Index number - code used to register for a class on WebReg.
Section number - professors use this number to differentiate their classes.
When contacting professors by email, include your full name, RUID/NetID, and section number.
