Course Map

the course website contains links to the following materials: 

• syllabus and schedule of assignments

• Между нами: online textbook and both workbooks (pdf); homework exercises also available on (editable) Google Docs

• daily lesson plans, organized on Google Slides. You can review what we did in class, check the daily announcements, or review what you missed

• handouts, organized by unit (in "Shared materials" folder)

• tech tools we'll be using (Flipgrid, etc.)

Student homework, quizzes, tests, and recorded material will be submitted & corrected via shared Google Folders: each student will be assigned a folder, and all completed work should be submitted & corrected there

the course Brightspace page will* contain the following: 

• any daily announcements will be posted here (and sent to your UVM mail); please check BSp & UVM mail regularly

• any changes to the daily assignments will be posted here (as well as in daily Google Slides and/or Teams)

• we do not use BSp's Grade Center feature in this course; you can find a detailed grade rubric in the course syllabus

*fall 2023 students: I promise I will eventually figure out BSp -- it just might take a little while! 

the course Team will be used for the following: 

• we will meet via Teams on Tuesday (10:05-11:20), for anyone who can make it. These meetings will be recorded for folks who want to watch all or part later. Note: Tuesday meetings *can* be completed asynchronously; you'll just need to work through all slides, including submitting any quizzes. 

• depending on how the pandemic shapes up, we might need to meet over Teams during MWF in-person class sessions (so that students in quarantine or at home can participate). This option is only for students in quarantine, though -- attending via Teams should not be considered an equal alternative to attending the live class!
