In 2021, we have begun a comprehensive project with a collaborative research team from across the globe to bring Japan into the research conversation on adaptive developmental regulation for youth.
One of our research-to-society goals is to validate tools that can be used for our community engagement and teacher training programs to support children with multicultural backgrounds in Japan.
My personal research is currently geared toward the evidence-based evaluation of candidate educational interventions in mental health promotion and their measurement tools.
Additionally, I am leading an effort to review the effects of social media on youth in Japan with Dr. Jonathan Haidt.
