Rushcliffe Phoenix Basketball Club is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and adults at risk in basketball.

We follow the guidance of Basketball England who have worked closely with  the Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU) NSPCC and the Ann Craft Trust to develop robust policies and procedures to safeguard children and adults at risk, achieving the NSPCC & CPSU's National Advanced Standards for safeguarding and protecting children in sport. 

Basketball England work with clubs and statutory agencies to ensure that safeguarding children and adults at risk is prioritised. 

Any and all allegations, suspicions of harm or concerns are taken seriously and responded to swiftly, fairly and appropriately. 

If you experience or witness anything of concern, please report it to safeguarding@rushcliffebasketball.co.uk, our Safeguarding Officer, or speak to our Club Chairman.
