About the program and beyond
Yes. Parking facilities are available to Rush students in either of the two main parking garages at Rush (1641 W. Harrison St. or 711 S. Paulina St.) for $40 per month (plus a $30 deposit for an electronic transponder). Student parking is also available for $25 per month (plus a $30 deposit for an electronic transponder) in the Ogden-Wood lot located between Ogden Avenue and Wood Street. First year clinical practicum assignments are determined by a random selection process. Every effort is made to ensure students get different settings across the 3 placements, but not guaranteed.
Yes. On campus jobs are available to students who qualify for the work study program. Learn more about work study opportunities at Rush here
Yes. Rush OTD students receive Chicago Transit Authority passes, Ventra card, as a part of their tuition. The Ventra card will give you unlimited access to city trains and buses when during each academic term and are inactive during ALL university academic breaks.

Rush provides students with various locations for individual or group study. Please review this document to learn more about study spaces for students at Rush.
Classes will take place in Armor Academic Center located at Armour Academic Center located at 600 S. Paulina St. Chicago IL 60612. Please review the campus map for more details on the location of Armour Academic Center. Once inside the building, students can expect to have classes and activities on all floors of the building. The OT Department's Office is located on the 10th floor. A student tour will occur the first day of orientation.
The amount of hours varies by student, but students should generally expect a minimum of 3 hours of outside of class work per credit per week during a 14-week course. For a 3 credit hour course a student could expect 9 hrs of additional coursework outside of class time per week.
