It is the Special Education Parent Advisory Commitee, started by RBUSD in 2022, in order to help faculty collaboration with IEP parents, while providing helpful resources.
Parent/Gaurdian applicants from each school site will go thru an election process, when the terms of current council members is up. The application link is sent out by the district to all school sites.
All RUHS IEP parents/gaurdians are encouraged to attend. Non IEP parents/gaudians are always welcome.
No. SEPAC is a district council, not related or associated with PTSA. However, RUHS SEPAC has partnered with and are working together with PTSA for IEP/SDC inclusion for all PTSA events etc.
Not necessarily the IEP it's self. However, most colleges in person or online, offer services for students with disabilities. Students must apply and present documentation (like and IEP) that confirms their disability. Students may be able to obtain extended time on tests, note-taking assistance, and other services, if they qaulify and are approved. This information can be found on the thier websites, usually under the student resource centers.
