En la quebrada de San Juan se camina entre una canal ancestral y las andenerías de Yucay están edificadas con mampostería de piedras labradas, traídas desde las punas de San Juan y las canteras de Cachicata en Ollantaytambo. Los muros alcanzan una altura promedio de 5 a 10 metros, con una extensión de 800 metros. Las plataformas son utilizadas como terreno de cultivo. En el recorrido encontraremos vegetación alrededor del canal, muchos árboles frutales en todo el trayecto.

In the San Juan stream we will walk between an ancestral channel and the platforms of Yucay. This irrigation system is build with stone masonry from the highlands of San Juan and the stone quarries of Cachicata in Ollantaytambo. The height of walls average is 5 to 10m; with an extension of 800 m. the platforms are used as a land of cultivation. On the way we will find vegetation around the channel, a lot of fruit trees.
