How far in advance should I book my RUNNING TOUR? For customized TOURS, the longer the anticipation time the better. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs. However, requests within a 24-hour period are subject to the availability of the guide. If you make your reservation within 24 hours after the requested time, a RYT representative will contact you by phone to confirm your request. For scheduled tours, registration is open up to 2 hours before the start of the Tour. Check the refund policy.
What is the race pace? For a personalized Running Tour, we run at your own pace, walk or stop if you need it or want it. For the scheduled tours, depending on the number of people, we will have several guides ready to lead different race rhythms (approximately 1 guide / 6 runners). If you are concerned about your ability to keep up, please contact us. Please, do not worry, we will not leave you behind!
Are we running all the time? Our Customized Tours are based on your preference. We can design your route so there are no stops. However, we are always willing to stop or walk if necessary. Our scheduled tours are designed with designated stops along the route. In this way, we make sure that everyone stays together and can hear all the information along the route.
Will there be something to drink? Yes, the guides will provide bottles of water (1 of 500 ml or its equivalent).
What happens if I'm late? Please call your guide if you will be late. For personalized tours, your guide will wait 15 minutes after the scheduled time. For scheduled tours, if we do not hear from you and the group is ready to leave, we will not wait. Your race guide will contact you to ask if you will join the group.
Will there be men and women? Yes, our careers are generally mixed.
Can someone carry something for me? (wallet, keys, telephone, cameras etc.) Yes, your guide runs with a small backpack so they can carry small items.
Are there restrooms along the route? In any route we do, we always know of a bath for you. If you think it is necessary to make sure there are restrooms along the route, please let us know in advance.
What happens if the weather is bad? Our goal is to satisfy your request, so we are willing to run through all types of weather if you still want to run. If the weather does not allow the race to be held, an alternative date will be provided. If you can not join the rescheduled tour, you will be reimbursed (see refund policy)
Can we give a tip to our career guide? Yes! They are not obligatory, but they are very appreciated.
Is there an age limit on field trips? There is no age limit for our excursions, however, if you have small children who are going to run and can run at a slower pace, we recommend that you schedule a personalized guided tour.
Are dogs allowed on excursions? Dogs are allowed on certain running routes depending on the city and the route. Please contact the administrator of the city you wish to run to consult.
Refunds? - Refunds are issued 48 hours before scheduled execution. We will issue a maximum refund within 48 hours only in case of an emergency or due to adverse weather conditions. In case of bad weather, we will try to reschedule your race for another day if possible with your schedule. If we can not do it, we will reimburse you.
Reprogramming? If you missed your original scheduled tour (due to any reason other than an emergency) and you call us before your trip to reschedule, we will issue a voucher for a tour on another date.
