GameDay 5K

The Game Day 5k is an annual race that Westerville Central High School hosts, typically before the start of the school year. This yearly tradition originated in the fall of 2008. The 5k road race/walk serves as the primary fundraiser for both the girls and boys Cross Country programs. Each year, the goal of the event is to promote running and exercise while creating a fun, family-oriented event with a football, “game day” feel. The event offers GameDay 5k “Homage-style” t-shirts, souvenir mug, and a post-race cookout with live music, hot dogs, chips, drinks, etc.

This event offers a free Kids 1/2 Mile Fun Run (starts at 7:15 pm) and a $25 5k Run/Walk (7:30 pm). Please consider signing up for our next year’s race!! It would really help the Warhawk Girls and Boys Cross Country programs out!!
