RUMCA had it's first guest speaker of the semester! Anu Chugh who is currently a second year Law student at Columbia Law school and a Rutgers Alum spoke to our members about the law school application process, law school student life, LSAT Preparation and more! The students of RUMCA also had the oppotunity to ask her questions and here about her experinces! We really appreciate Anu taking the time out of her busy schedule to speak and share wonderful advice.

RUMCA had there first virtual game night! Since the Rutgers Moot Association is still meeting virtual for the Spring 2021 semester, the team started to incorporate more team bonding activties to compensate for the lack of in person interaction. RUMCA has already pride itself on being a tight knit community of unique indviduals who come together to pratice oral advocacy and legal writing. This game night was the first many in order to keep the postive spirt of RUMCA in a virtual format! Thank you to Michigan State Moot Court for coming!

Even with this semester being virtual the Rutgers Moot Court association is very much looking forward to Fall Recuritment and welcoming to member of our team! Recruitment this year will all be virtual using Zoom as a major platform. Pictured to the side our Info session dates and below is the link to join the Zoom sessions as well. We are also looking forward to meeting prospective students at the Virtual Involvment fair!

"Moot court was one of my first 'Rutgers' experiences and honestly one of the best! Preparing for the competition with people who would become my friends was one of the best experiences I've had yet! At the end of fall semester I went to Virginia to compete and we made Rutgers history! Moot court is a fantastic opportunity to make friends and dip your toes into legal arguments!" ~ Alice M (Photographed left)
At the Regent University Competetion, RUMCA made history by being the first Rutgers team to compete at regionals. Members Veronica Bido and Alice Militaru advanced in the competetion.
