QUIZ
Prepare yourself by reviewing the appropriate units and unit summaries. You should pay particular attention to the Conversations, Grammar Focus points, and Word Power exercises. The quiz will also contain a short LISTENING section and a short READING passage.

OBJECTIVE
The purpose of the quiz is not for to compete for the highest score; rather, the quiz will inform us (students and the teachers) about how well we learned the material and what material, if any, may need extra review and practice.
Comprehension = ability to understand questions and respond appropriately
Fluency = ability to speak quickly, naturally, and without many pauses
Grammar = ability to use correct grammar and sentence structures
Vocabulary = ability to understand and use vocabulary words and phrases
Pronunciation = ability to use correct stress, rhythm, and intonation patterns
SCORE
Each quiz has a total score of 25 points (25 correct answers are possible at 1 point each).
23–25 = A Excellent
20 –22 = B Very Good
17–19 = C Good
16 or below = Poor ➡ Needs improvement.
