Privacy Policy — Rugcraft
Last updated: 20 October 2026
Rugcraft ("the Game") is developed and published by Leke Yazılım ve Oyun A.Ş. ("we", "us"), Esentepe Mah. Büyükdere Cad. No:127, Astoria Kempinski Residence, Istanbul, Türkiye.
This policy explains what the Game collects, why, who receives it, and how you can limit it.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, date of birth or gender. The Game has no account system and no login. We do not use your device's location services, and we do not access your contacts, photos, microphone or camera. We do not collect a list of the apps installed on your device.
We never receive your payment card or billing details: purchases are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play).
We, our measurement partner and our advertising partners can infer an approximate location (typically your country or city) from your IP address. This is not precise location and it does not come from your device's location settings.
What we collect
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent the first time you open the Game and collect nothing unless you agree. Elsewhere, collection is on by default.
We collect:
• Device and app information — device model, operating system and version, app version, country (from your device's language and region setting) and IP address.
• Identifiers — a random installation identifier generated on your device. It is not linked to your identity and is reset if you delete and reinstall the Game. On iOS we also collect Apple's identifier for vendor (IDFV), an identifier that is specific to our apps on your device.
• Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android) — used by our advertising partner AppLovin. On iOS it is available only if you allow tracking when your device asks. The Game does not pass it to our measurement partner roasit.com.
• Gameplay events — when you open the Game, which level you started, whether you finished it, how long it took, how many lives were left, how much of the rug you completed and, if you lost, whether time or lives ran out. We use this to balance difficulty.
• How you found the Game (install attribution) — the first time you open the Game:
• whether it was installed from an app store, and when it was first installed and last updated on your device;
• on Android, the Google Play install referrer: the campaign information attached to the store link you used (for example which ad or campaign sent you to Google Play), when you clicked that link and when the download began;
• on Android, if you have the Facebook, Instagram or Facebook Lite app, Meta's install referrer: whether you clicked or viewed a Meta ad for the Game, when, and the (encrypted) campaign it belonged to.
• Purchases — when you buy something in the Game: which product, the price and currency the store charged, and the store's transaction ID. A purchase restored on a new device is not reported again.
• Advertising data — when an ad is shown: the ad network, ad unit, ad format and the revenue the ad earned.
• Crash diagnostics — if the Game crashes, technical details about the crash and the device state at that moment.
We do not collect the content of anything you type; the nickname you choose is stored only on your own device.
Why we collect it
• To understand which levels are too hard or too easy and improve the Game.
• To find and fix crashes.
• To show ads.
• To measure our own advertising: which ad campaign, if any, brought you to the Game, whether the players a campaign brought keep playing and make purchases, and to detect advertising fraud (for example clicks falsely credited to a campaign).
• To let Meta measure and improve our ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram (see below).
Who we share it with
These service providers process the data on our behalf:
• Google (Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics) — https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• AppLovin (ads and their measurement) — https://www.applovin.com/privacy/
• roasit.com (our advertising measurement platform) — receives the device and app information, identifiers, gameplay events, install attribution, purchase and advertising data listed above. It does not receive the advertising identifier.
We also share data with this advertising platform:
• Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) — roasit.com forwards the installs of the Game and in-app purchases (product, price and currency) to Meta through Meta's Conversions API, together with the information Meta needs to match them to its ads (such as device model, operating system, IP address and, on Android, Meta's install referrer). Meta uses it to measure and improve our ad campaigns, under its own privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/
We do not sell your data. Apart from the companies listed above, we do not share it with anyone.
Advertising
The Game shows two kinds of ads, both through AppLovin:
• Rewarded video ads, only when you choose to watch one (for example to continue after losing a level, or for the daily Ads Pack).
• A full-screen ad every second level, shown between levels when you leave the level's result screen — never during play. Buying Remove Ads turns these off for good. Rewarded ads stay available, because you choose them.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before any personalised ads are shown, and you can decline. Declining does not stop you from playing or from watching rewarded ads — the ads are simply less relevant.
On iOS, whether the advertising identifier can be used is controlled by the system prompt Apple shows, and by Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Your choices and rights
• Limit ad personalisation — turn off personalised advertising in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking). This stops your advertising identifier from being used. It does not stop the gameplay, install and purchase measurement described above.
• Consent in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland — you can decline when you first open the Game. To withdraw consent you have already given, delete and reinstall the Game (it will ask you again) and email us at the address below to have the data collected so far deleted.
• Meta — to control how Meta uses information for the ads it shows you, use the ad settings of your Facebook or Instagram account.
• Delete your data — email us at the address below and we will delete the data associated with your installation and ask roasit.com to do the same. Deleting the Game from your device stops all collection.
• If you are in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, California or Türkiye, you have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction and objection regarding your personal data. Contact us and we will respond.
Data retention
Analytics and attribution data are kept for at most 14 months, then deleted automatically. Crash reports are kept for 90 days. Data that Meta receives is kept under Meta's own policy.
Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and publish the new version at this address.
