Bio: Dr. Rudra Mohan Pradhan is a Postdoctoral researcher and National Postdoctoral Fellow at the Dept. of Geology and Geophysics, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. Prior to IIT Kharagpur, Dr. Pradhan was a Research Associate in the Department of Earth Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India. Also, he worked as Visiting Research Fellow at the Daugherty Water for Food Global Institute and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA (May-Sept 2019) and a Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India (2013-14). He received his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in August 2022. He holds a master's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and a bachelor’s degree from North Orissa University, both in geology. Dr. Pradhan’s research interests lie primarily in Fault zone Hydrogeology, Low-temperature Geochemistry (uranium, iron, and selenium), Fluid flow through geologic structures, Electrical Imaging, and Critical zone science. His research goal is fundamental to applied research to enable sustainable groundwater use. He has published research articles in reputed international journals and contributed to book chapters and proceedings. He has successfully presented his research at many national and international geological and hydrogeological conferences held in Arizona (USA), New Orleans (USA), Hawai’i (USA), Montreal (Canada), Valencia (Spain), Daejeon (South Korea), Shanghai (China), and Roorkee (India). Dr. Pradhan is a recipient of several prestigious International fellowships and grants. He is an active reviewer of several peer-reviewed journals viz. Water Resources Management, Natural Resources Research, Frontiers in Environmental Sciences, Journal of Earth System Science, Sustainable Water Resources Management, National Academy Science Letters, Remote Sensing, EMAS, SERRA, Geoscience Frontiers, CLEAN-Soil, Air, Water, Scientific reports (Nature), RSC Advances, etc.
