Bio: Dr. Rudra Mohan Pradhan is a Postdoctoral researcher and National Postdoctoral Fellow at the Dept. of Geology and Geophysics, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. Prior to IIT Kharagpur, Dr. Pradhan was a Research Associate in the Department of Earth Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India. Also, he worked as Visiting Research Fellow at the Daugherty Water for Food Global Institute and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA (May-Sept 2019) and a Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India (2013-14). He received his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in August 2022. He holds his master's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and a bachelor’s degree from North Orissa University, both in geology. Dr. Pradhan’s research interests lie primarily in Fault zone Hydrogeology, Low-temperature Geochemistry (uranium, iron, and selenium), Fluid flow through geologic structures, Electrical Imaging, and Critical zone science. His research goal is fundamental to applied research to enable sustainable groundwater use.
