Donuts & Dreams begins with a free, pop-up donut booth in the lobby at 312 Main. People in the space, whether they work in the building or are members of the public, are able to choose from the following menu: Shit-Disturber, Daydreamer, and Makeover. Based on their choice, folk are asked a question that invites them to dream up unconventional ways of effecting social change, fantastical uses of 312 Main, or dream-world transformations of the building. These conversations will inspire the development of a video project envisioning an absurd, utopian future. This project aims to playfully highlight the work being done at 312 Main and bring to life the dreams of the people who find themselves there. There will be a showing of the video piece at 312 Main on April 10th.

Canada Line is the most often one I use for transit to SFU's downtown campus, and I as an observer and participant often feel getting a seat is one of my daily life’s missions to achieve. The thing of fighting for a seat is what I feel a lot in Vancouver, everyone wants to get on the Skytrain as soon as possible, even some passengers who are getting off haven’t finished yet.
