Digital Humanities & Social Impact: Research and community-focused tools addressing migration through Mexico, digital activism, and support for deported or returning Mexicans.

Publishing & Knowledge Strategy: As the founder of Illuma Press and initiatives in strategic knowledge capitalization, I work on empowering authors and researchers to translate their knowledge into high-impact publications and digital media.

Illuma Press | Democratizing Knowledge & Independent Publishing

As an extension of my work in digital humanities and public scholarship, I founded Illuma Press—an independent editorial imprint created to streamline and democratize the publishing process for scholars and creators. Illuma Press bridges academic rigor with innovative digital strategy, offering end-to-end editorial management, specialized manuscript coaching, and indexation strategy designed to meet the standards of prestigious academic presses. By helping authors navigate both traditional academic publishing and independent digital distribution, the initiative aims to capitalize scholarly knowledge, make specialized research broadly accessible, and amplify underrepresented voices in contemporary publishing.

Capitalización Estratégica del Conocimiento | Strategic Knowledge Capitalization

As an extension of my work in bridging academic expertise with sustainable impact, I lead initiatives in Strategic Knowledge Capitalization, a specialized framework designed designed for academics, researchers, and higher education professionals. By fusing structured academic mentorship with comprehensive financial and distribution strategies, this initiative helps creators transform their intellectual property into powerful professional assets. The goal is to maximize the autonomy, professional value, and long-term financial potential of scholarly expertise, ensuring that specialized knowledge not only gains broad dissemination but also becomes a sustainable source of professional and financial capitalization.

Narrateca para la Justicia Social | Narrateca for Social Justice

Narrateca is a collaborative digital platform designed for the creation, archiving, and dissemination of narratives related to social justice in Mexico. This initiative seeks to document, preserve, and amplify the stories of underrepresented communities (Indigenous peoples, Afro-descendant communities, migrants, women, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ collectives) through accessible digital tools.

This project is funded by SECIHTI (2025–2027) for its development by Tecnológico de Monterrey, with the Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila as a partner institution.

MigrArt-e

Migrarte is a creative electronic literature project that showcases experimental, activist-oriented digital writing. It serves as a space of exploration where I experiment with cyborg writing techniques, multimedia storytelling, and electronic literature tools to address themes of migration, social justice, and identity. Through interactive and hybrid forms, MigrArt-e seeks to expand how stories of displacement and solidarity can be imagined, expressed, and shared.

Redes, migrantes sin fronteras | Networks, Migrants Without Borders

Redes, Migrantes sin Fronteras is a digital humanities initiative centered on technological appropriation and narrative agency for migrants and returnees in Mexico. The project leverages digital rhetoric, new media, and accessible Artificial Intelligence to help historically marginalized communities challenge migration stigmas and craft their own stories. Featuring space for electronic literature and visual poetry (MigrARTe) alongside public research (Confluencias), the platform transforms digital space into a tool for social justice, memory preservation, and community resilience. Expanding on this mission, the platform is currently developing TravesIAs—an initiative focused on AI-assisted storytelling for migration journeys—and TutorIAles, a series of accessible digital literacy guides designed to empower communities through practical AI appropriation.
