Venue & Travel

The workshop will be held in the Denis Sciama Lecture Theatre at the Denys Wilkinson Building, University of Oxford, Keble Rd, Oxford OX1 3RH, United Kingdom.

There are steps going up to the main entrance but there is a street level rear entrance. Please let us know about any accessibility requirements when you register.

There is no parking available at the department.

The conference dinner will be held at Christ Church. 

Maps and Travel

If you are travelling from Gatwick or Heathrow airports, the nearest stop for the direct Airline bus service from Heathrow and Gatwick is called Queen's Lane. You can also alight from the terminal bus stop at Gloucester Green Bus Station. These are both about 10 minutes walk from the Physics Department.

If you are flying into Birmingham, there is an hourly train service direct from Birmingham International to Oxford .

For those of you arriving by train, the Department is about 15 minutes walk from the train station. Timetables and fares can be found at National Rail.
