The axis cube is sometimes called the axle cube. It is a shape mod, so it looks intimidating. Like most shape mods, the axis cube's centers are 2 colored. It is solved like a regular 3 by 3 cube, but there are a little bit of different things that can happen. (no parities)
On Amazon, an axis cube with stickers is $7.99. (with prime) You can get a pack with a 3 by 3, axis, fisher, windmill, skewb, and ivy cubes for $17.39. (with prime). The second deal listed is what I got. (I like it)
The pieces on an axis cube are weird like other shape-changers. In the picture to the left, the yellow-blue triangle piece is a center, the trapezoid shaped pieces are edges, the 2 longest triangles on the yellow side are edges, the one yellow triangle above the trapezoid is a corner, and the three colored triangle in the corner is a corner.
You solve this cube like a 3 by 3 cube, except the yellow cross and positioning the yellow cross pieces are different. It is a fun cube to solve and only a bit harder than the fisher/windmill cubes. It has no parities and few algorithms.
