In the framework of the project "The Dynamics of Inclusive Finance" colleagues of Utrecht University and I have created the citizen science project "Kasboekje van Nederland" where we asked people to donate their financial archives to us for further research. This yielded many interesting documents and resulted in a television show for Dutch national television. More info here (only in Dutch).
After attending the 2017 EBHA summer school, we, the participating banking historians, decided to found an informal network for young banking historians. The aim is to construct a small but tightly knit network of people who work on similar topics, and who can provide constructive in-depth feedback on each others research. Together with Amaury de Vicq, I organized a first meet-up with the network at Utrecht University. This consisted of a masterclass by Prof. John Turner (QUB) and a series of paper presentations by young scholars. We had a next edition at St. Hilda's College, Oxford University in 2019.
During my masters I contributed several journalism articles to International Perspective, the graduate magazine for international relations of the University of Antwerp.
