In Prescott, AZ, the weather in late October and early November is cool and crisp, with daytime highs ranging from the low 60s to low 70s and nighttime lows often dipping into the 30s. Families should pack layers, a warm jacket, and comfortable shoes, as mornings and evenings can be chilly and light rain is possible.
Sweatshirt/Warm Jacket for the evenings
Comfortable clothes you can move around in during the day: t-shirt and shorts (for day time)
We are providing a light t-shirt to wear home on Sunday.
Jeans/Long pants (comfortable to move in if you plan on hiking)
Hat/Sunscreen

Re-fillable Water Bottle with your name on it
Flashlight or head lamp
Watch
Warm Pajamas/Sleepwear
Towel and flip flops (optional for shower)
Toiletries (Toothbrush/toothpaste, shampoo, body soap, etc.)
Medications (We will have a first aid kit, however if you take any regular medications, please remember to bring them with you!)
BEDDING
Pillow
Sleeping bag and/or fitted sheet with heavy blanket (Twin Sized fitted sheet will work best)
OPTIONAL: There will be electives at camp and two of the options are Disc-Golf and Tennis. While the camp will provide equipment for those who want to play, you may bring your frisbee or tennis racquet from home.
We ask that you leave food and snacks at home. Camp Stein requests NO FOOD IN THE CABINS to prevent unwanted forest creatures.
To protect our participants with severe nut allergies, foods with nuts WILL NOT BE PERMITTED at camp during our retreat. (Some pre-packaged snacks may be processed in a facility with nuts)
We will be providing plenty of food and snacks for participants during the retreat. If you have food allergies and/or restrictions and require dietary accommodations, please mention this in your registration form. Camp is able to accommodate most dietary needs.
We are following Camp Stein's Medication Policy while at camp. Students will not be permitted to have ANY medications in the cabins. (This INCLUDES over-the-counter medications)
When you arrive to check in your student(s) for the retreat, we will have a camp medical staff ready to check-in your medications along with instructions for dosage. We will SEND YOU the medication release form to fill out and bring to check in completed. The med staff will administer ALL medications while at camp (including over-the-counter medications.)
