Agents create interesting designs and write code based on the merged objects behaviours, live code is interpreted. The AI can create wild, unexpected behaviours since it could code anything!
Merges follow a logic similar to evolution:
Traits mix up, reinforce and mutations occur. If you merge tanky units together, you get even tankier ones!
The merge mechanic is predictable yet surprising by having this "mutation" factor.
Tired of playing against tanks? Annoyed by opponents that use crowd control? Create your own counter by merging and theorycrafting!
Powercreep is not an issue : you can always create a counter.
If troop A is merged with troop B, the AI creates troop AB. This is computed only once:
Players that try to merge A and B will all get the same outcome. Players can share their creations and "recipes" to create them.
Discovering a brand new merge will have their name forever etched into the weapon!
