My hometown is in Kannur, Kerala, famous for its Thallasery cuisine.
My favorite hobby growing up was playing soccer! I love reading, and also like to write occasionally. I usually wind down by noodling on my guitar. In recent years, I have also become an amateur sailor and climber.
This is a rough list of things I find really enjoyable while living in East Lansing. I hope it's useful to some of you!
Go to the Wharton: If you are a student, then you can get cheap tickets to Broadway shows. They have a variety of programs. The Riverwalk Theater is another excellent place for theater.
Abrams Planetarium: We have a planetarium right on campus!
Take the Amtrak to Chicago for a weekend trip: One of the(third) largest cities in the USA!
MSU Sailing Center: If you are in EL in the summer, I highly recommend the sailing classes offered. They are reasonably cheap and a fantastic experience. You can also go kayaking on Lake Lansing!
Catch a game of Lansing Lugnuts: Bonus if you go on a day that has scheduled fireworks!
Check out COGS: They organize some really fun activities- here are some I went to: Trip to Mackinac Island, A game of Detroit Red Wings(they gave a free t-shirt!), Winter Hike at Woldumar Center, and many more!
