About
RSS Pioneers is a workshop towards senior PhD students and PostDocs, held in conjunction with Robotics: Science and Systems. The goal of RSS Pioneers is to bring together a cohort of the world’s top early career researchers to foster creativity and collaborations surrounding challenges in all areas of robotics. The participants will also have the opportunity to discuss their academic work and career with distinguished peers and senior scholars. This is the second RSS Pioneers that will be held on June 21 and 22, 2019 in Freiburg, Germany.
To facilitate attendance, the workshop will provide partial support for travel and registration for RSS Pioneers and the main RSS 2019 conference. RSS Pioneers is inspired by the format of the prestigious HRI Pioneers workshop. The first RSS Pioneers was successfully held at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA in 2018.
Interested graduate students and postdocs are encouraged to apply by following the instructions on the application page.
