Research Scholars' Symposium 2022
Research Scholars' Symposium is an annual flagship event of the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Bombay. It was instituted in 2007 with an aim to foster teamwork, networking, promote collaborations and bridge the gap between academia and industry. Currently, it is organised every year by the research scholars of the Department under the aegis of Chemical Engineering Association (ChEA). In 2022, we will be stepping into our 15th Edition.
Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Bombay
The Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Bombay was started in 1958. Today the department is recognized as a leading department in India primarily because of its strong academic programs, large faculty strength and diverse range of research areas. The Department has built up good experimental and computational facilities, through funding from the Ministry of Human Resources Development, and research projects from Government Agencies and Industry. The Department has good interaction with Industry and provides service by way of consultancy projects and continuing education courses in many of areas.
