Dr. Pramod Kumbhar received his doctoral degree in chemical engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology (formerly UDCT), Mumbai. He has been working with Praj industries (which focuses on driving innovations in biotechnology to make biofuels and biochemicals) as the President and Chief Technology Officer for the last 10 years. He is a fellow of the Maharashtra Academy of Sciences and has 30+ international patents and publications to his credit. He is a recipient of several prestigious awards like - the UAA-ICT Distinguished Alumnus award from UDCT Alumni Association and Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai (2020), VASVIK Award in Chemical Science and Technology (2020), Green Chemistry award from IGCW (2019), Bronze and Silver medals from GE for patent filings.

Mr. Vikas Garg is an Agrosolutions and Pharmaceutical Professional and team leader experienced in successfully integrating business opportunities into operational and commercial decision making using structured business processes. He is currently working with UPL Ltd as Head AI – India for all Technical Manufacturing Sites. This role includes implementation of AI Manufacturing Strategy, design to exceed customer expectations across Product, Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery & drive Operational Excellence. Overall he has 21 years of API experience across various industry functions including multisite Site leadership, Production, Manufacturing Science & Technology, Operation Excellence, Project Management & Procurement. Prior to UPL, he has worked in leadership positions in Multinational companies including Centrient (erstwhile DSM Sinochem), Teva API India Ltd., and Dr. Reddy’s.

Mangesh is the Head of Digital Transformation & Analytics in Linde South Asia Services Limited. He earned his B.E in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pune and M.Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay. A professional with technical knowledge of operations research, optimization, data analytics & machine learning, modeling & simulation, information technology frameworks, productivity tools, decision science, innovation techniques and work process development. Prior to joining Linde, he worked with Honeywell as a Research Engineer.

Devang Khakhar is a professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Bombay. He earned his B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi in 1981 and a doctorate from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1986. His research interests include reactor modeling, drug delivery and rheology. He is a recipient of several prestigious awards like the Amar Dyechem award IIChE, Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize and Swarnajayanti fellowship. Devang is a fellow of renowned societies like the Indian Academy of Sciences and the Indian National Science Academy. He was recently selected as the Indian National Academy of Engineering Chair Professor.

Resmi Suresh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Guwahati. She earned her B.Tech from NIT Calicut in 2012 and PhD from IIT Madras in 2018. Before joining IITG in 2019, she did her post-doctoral research at Columbia University. She comes from a process systems engineering background and her major research interests are in the areas of causal modeling, data science application in chemical engineering, optimization, fault diagnosis and application of systems engineering ideas in energy systems.
