Dr Dao's paper on Analysis of Failures, Downtimes and Reliability of Wind Turbines From SCADA Data is published in Wind Energy. Here is the link to access the paper https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/we.70073 

Dr Cuong Dao attended the UK-Vietnam Higher Education Forum as part of his iTechpath project on Clean Energy Transition. During this event, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the University of Bradford and Hanoi University of Science and Technology was signed and exchanged to enhance collaboration in research, teaching and student exchanges.

Mr Michael Samuel Agility attended the University of Bradford PGR Conference 2025 and presented his PhD research on "Advanced Maintenance Modelling and Autonomous Systems Integration for Offshore Wind Farms: Enhancing Operational Efficiency and Supporting Net-Zero Transition ".

Three academics from the University of Oum El Bouaghi, Algeria, including Dr Seif El Islam, Dr Sakri Djamel, and Prof Rahem Djamel, visited the University of Bradford and RSE Research Group.

Dr Cuong Dao successfully received funding from the British Council for his project on UK Vietnam Transnational Education Partnership for Clean Energy Transition.

Mr Nigus Belete received a part-time internship to work for the UN Headquarters in New York for 6 months. His job involves the application of renewable energy in UN missions.

Mr Emeka Nwonu attended the 8th IEOM conference in Paris and presented the paper: 

• Nwonu E., Munive-Hernandez J.E., and Dao C.D., Developing a Framework to Improve Supply Chain Resilience Strategies for Offshore Wind Energy Organisations using a Circular Economy Approach.

RSE research group attended the YISEC 2025 conference in York. Two members of the group received the conference awards for:

• Best poster award by Adejoke Ayodeji 

• Runner-up for best paper category by Laolu (Femi) Shobayo
