Event details

We hold monthly Saturday Social Dances, dancing to recordings of the best Scottish dance bands, with the occasional live musician thrown in for good measure.  Our usual February social dance is called "Nice and Easy", where we encourage newer dancers to come and where the dances are "nice and easy". This year it is taking place at the end of January.

We also run a successful day school in the Autumn.  This brings together dancers wishing to improve their skills under the guidence of a well-known teacher, accompanied by a local musician.  Following the school there is an early evening social dance.

Over the last few years we have held social gatherings and picnics, danced outdoors, and in palatial surroundings, in locations as diverse as Clumber Park, Worksop and Wentworth Woodhouse, Rotherham.
