The Makerspace (C155)
The Makerspace is a relaxed, multifunctional study spot designed to support creative thinking, casual collaboration, and hands-on projects. It’s a cozy corner stocked with a few helpful amenities to make long study sessions or group meetings more comfortable and productive.
Flexible Seating & Workspace – Set up for quiet solo work or small group collaboration.
Mini Fridge & Microwave – Keep snacks fresh and meals warm during long work sessions.
Bookshelves with Inspiration & Resources – Browse design books, guides, and creative reads.
Casual, Comfortable Vibe – A welcoming space for brainstorming, planning, or just decompressing between classes.
Open to all students looking for a laid-back space to work on projects, read, or collaborate in a less structured environment.
The Makerspace is open for student use as long as the main department door is open, it will be the first door on the right of the second hallway past the UXD Research Lab. If for some reason the door is locked, a faculty member should be able to unlock it for you.
