2. Do you build homes or act as a General Contractor?
No. RPM CC & ORG is not a general contractor unless specifically stated in a separate agreement. Our primary role is consulting, project management support, coordination, oversight, and owner representation services.
3. What is an Owner-Builder?
An Owner-Builder is a homeowner who assumes responsibility for managing and coordinating the construction of their own home. Depending on local laws and regulations, the homeowner may pull permits, hire contractors, and oversee the project while maintaining responsibility for the work being performed.
4. How can RPM CC help an Owner-Builder?
We help owner-builders understand the construction process, develop budgets, review bids, track schedules, monitor progress, organize project documentation, and navigate many of the challenges associated with managing a residential construction project.
5. Do I need construction experience to work with RPM CC?
No. Many of our clients have little or no construction experience. Our services are designed to help homeowners better understand the process and make informed decisions throughout their project.
6. Can RPM CC work alongside my builder?
Yes. Our Tier 3 Builder Partnership & Project Support services are specifically designed to work alongside builders, contractors, developers, and project teams by providing administrative support, project coordination, scheduling assistance, documentation management, and owner communication support.
7. Do you provide design services?
Yes. We offer Interior Design Consultation and Exterior Design Consultation services to help clients select finishes, colors, materials, fixtures, layouts, and design elements that align with their vision, budget, and project goals.
8. Do I need proof of funds before starting a project?
For Tier 2 and Tier 3 services, clients may be required to provide proof of funds, financing approval, or proof of income sufficient to support the proposed project. This helps ensure projects are financially prepared before significant planning and coordination efforts begin.
9. What areas do you serve?
RPM CC primarily serves residential clients throughout South Carolina. Depending on project needs, consulting and advisory services may also be available remotely through phone, video conference, and digital project management tools.
