This Privacy Policy explains how the Rozi mobile application ("Rozi", "the app", "we", "us") handles information. Rozi is published by Tukracraft ("the developer"), an individual developer based in India. By using Rozi you agree to this Policy.
Rozi is built on a simple promise: your business records stay on your phone. We designed the app to work fully offline and to collect as little as possible.

Your work data -- your workers, their attendance, wages, salary, advances, notes and cashbook entries -- is stored ONLY on your device. We do not upload it, we cannot see it, and we do not sell it or share it with anyone.
Rozi does not ask you to create an account, sign in, or give a phone number or OTP to use it.
We collect a small amount of anonymous usage, crash, and rough city-level location information (through Google Firebase) to fix bugs, improve the app, and see which regions use Rozi. This does not include your workers' data.
We do not show ads and we do not use an advertising ID.

When you use Rozi you enter information such as worker names, wage rates, daily attendance, overtime, advances, salary calculations, notes, and cashbook entries. All of this is saved locally in the app's storage on your phone. It is never transmitted to us or to any server. Because this data lives on your device:
You are in control of it at all times.
You can edit or delete it inside the app, or remove all of it by uninstalling the app.
If you lose your phone or uninstall the app without making a backup, this data cannot be recovered by us -- we never had a copy. Please keep your own backup file safe.

To understand how the app is used and to keep it stable, Rozi uses Google Firebase (Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics). Through these tools we collect a limited amount of anonymous, technical information, such as:
App usage events (for example, that a worker was added or attendance was marked) -- as counts and signals only, WITHOUT the names, wages, or any personal details of your workers.
Basic device and app information: device model, operating system version, language, app version, and a random app-instance identifier.
Crash and performance diagnostics if the app stops or errors, so we can fix it.
Your approximate, city-level location, derived from your internet (IP) address -- used only to see which regions use Rozi. We do NOT use GPS and we do NOT collect your precise location.
We do NOT collect your advertising ID, and we do NOT use GPS or collect your precise location. We use this information only to improve and stabilise Rozi. This processing is buffered on the device and sent when a connection is available; if you stay offline, it simply waits.
Google processes this data as our service provider. See Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).

Contacts (optional): if you choose to add a worker from your contacts, Rozi reads your contact list on the device only to let you pick a name and number. Your contacts are NOT uploaded, stored by us, or shared. If you do not grant this, you can still type worker details manually.
Storage / Files: to save exported reports (Excel) and backup files, and to share a salary slip.
Notifications (optional): to show a gentle daily reminder, if you turn it on. We ask for permissions only at the point you use the related feature, and Rozi works without the optional ones.

When you share a salary slip on WhatsApp, or export a report, or save a backup file, you are choosing to send that file using your own phone's share tools (for example WhatsApp, Drive, or Files). That action is controlled by you and by the app you send it to; it is not a transfer of data to us.

We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
We do not share your business data with advertisers or data brokers.
We do not upload your contacts.
We do not use GPS or track your precise location (we derive only a rough, city-level location from your IP address for analytics, as described in section 3).
We do not use advertising identifiers.
We do not require sign-in, and we do not store your data on our servers (there are none for your work data in this version).

Rozi is a business tool intended for adults (18 and over) who manage workers or staff. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your work data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. The anonymous analytics and crash data collected through Firebase is retained according to Google's standard retention settings for those services.

Because your work data is stored on your own device, you can access, correct, or delete it directly in the app at any time, or remove all of it by uninstalling. The limited analytics and crash data is anonymous and is not linked to your identity, so we are not able to single out or delete one person's analytics data on request; you can stop all future collection at any time by uninstalling the app. If you have any question, concern, or grievance about your information, you can contact us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Your data stays on your device and is protected by your phone's own security (such as your screen lock and, if you enable it, the app lock inside Rozi). No method of storage is perfectly secure, but because we do not transmit or hold your work data, the risk of it being exposed through us is removed.

We may update this Policy as the app changes -- for example, when future versions add optional sign-in, cloud backup, or paid features. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Please review this page from time to time.
