Bio: Anatomical heart ocarina made from stoneware clay in Toki-shi, one of Japan's ceramic art capitals. Tuned by ear to Alto C major. Co-created with my cat Lucatiel who, within days of influential manga artist Kentaro Miura's death, pulled this piece in its plastic covering off the shelf, which caused the ocarina to sustain damage matching that of Miura's fatal acute aortic dissection.
Pictured below are the process stages of acrylic painting, along with a test piece fired in metallic walnut glaze.
Fan-art inspired by the throwing pot items and warrior jars from the videogame Elden Ring by FromSoftware. Pinch pot example made while assisting for Ms. Phillips' art class (2023).
My first ocarina (2012). Sweet-potato form styled after the item of the same name in the N64/3DS game, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
