Roy is an alumnus of Interlochen Arts Academy and graduate of Laguna College of Art and Design, where he got his Bachelor's degree in Game Art. Shortly after, he moved to Nakatsugawa, Japan to teach English, which began his ongoing career in education. He's currently a student at GVSU for K-12 Visual Arts Teaching Certification.
