Luke J. Hyman

Intern (jointly with the Quake lab at Stanford)

Virtual Reality, Deep Learning, Microscope Control

Luke Hyman is working on a variety of software-based projects for the Royer and Quake lab, with the aim of providing new, useful tools for data visualisation, microscope control, and deep learning based image analysis.

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in mechatronics at the University of Bath, he has interests in both hardware and software design, the latter of which he is hoping to develop during his internship. He plans to use a proficiency in both to develop an intelligent backing for his hardware, applied to research into robotics and innovative technologies.
