沙漏費米子為一新型費米子電子態,在2016年與2018年被預測可能出現在兩類材料中,該電子態除了有特別的沙漏狀能帶結構,也有特殊得三維推廣之量子霍爾自旋效應。本研究利用同步輻射之VUV光角解析光電子能譜、穿隧式電子顯微鏡、X光繞射等技術,分析層狀半金屬Nb3SiTe6材料中的沙漏費米子電子態。除了量測到沙漏費米子一部分的狄拉克節點線之外,我們也量測到自旋電子流的電子能帶結構。本論文提供許多直觀證據,有助於進一步了解沙漏費米子的物理特性。此研究成果發表在美國化學學會出版的《奈米通訊》 (Nano Letters)並獲選為當期期刊內頁封面。

Experienced physicist specializing in synchrotron radiation and advanced photoemission spectroscopy for electronic materials research. Participated in the construction and commissioning of the Nano-resolved and Angle-resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy (NanoARPES) endstation at Taiwan Photon Source Beamline 39A2. Extensive experience in ultra-high vacuum (UHV) systems, surface preparation, electronic structure characterization, and data analysis using XPS, ARPES, TRARPES, and micro-/nano-XPS.
