Back to where it all started -- we returned to the LA Region V Science Fair after a successful event in 2025. Over 140 students in grades 4-12 attended the event in between judging rounds. Thank you to our volunteers!

Each year, the McNeese Department of Mathematical Sciences hosts the MAA American Mathematics Competition for middle and high school students. Rowdy's Math Rodeo made an appearance during the post-test pizza party where we premiered new Julia Robinson Mathematics Festival Maze Mats. Thank you to our volunteers!

Grand Lake High School invited Rowdy's Math Rodeo to their school College & Career Fair. Over 100 students in grades 9-12 (the HS student body) attended the event. Students, Teachers, and even the Cameron Parish Sheriff's Office solved a puzzle or two! We premiered a new Puzzle-A-Day activity. Thank you to our volunteers!

The Calcasieu Parish School Board hosted a College & Career Fair, including Rowdy's Math Rodeo. Over 800 students in grades 7-12 attended the event. Henry Heights Elementary hosted a family math night featuring Rowdy's Math Rodeo. Approximately 50 students in grades K-5 attended the event. Fort Polk Child & Youth Services is an after-school program for students attending on-base schools at Fort Polk, Louisiana. Approximately 50 students in grades K-5 attended the event. Our first-ever Rodeo featured origami fidget toys and models, The Bridges of Konigsberg, The Genius Star (a spatial reasoning board game), Brain Teasers, and Combinatorial Designs.
