A traveling exhibit teaching K-12 students about advanced mathematics concepts through play.
Rowdy's Math Rodeo is a pop-up mathematics exhibition designed to introduce K-12 students to research-level mathematics concepts in a fun and interactive way. Students learn about a wide range of mathematics fields - Discrete Math, Analysis, Algebra, Geometry & Topology, Applied Math & Statistics, and Set Theory & Logic - through play. The exhibit is run entirely by McNeese State University Mathematical Sciences faculty and College of Engineering & Sciences student volunteers.
Thank you, Geometiles, for sending us this custom Rowdy's Cowboy Hat to display at our events. We even got a picture of it with Rowdy himself! We are excited to debut our new Jumbo Set of Geometiles this Fall.
Do you already have a set of Geometiles? Then you can construct your own Rowdy's Cowboy Hat! See how (Instagram - @geometiles + @mcneesedms).
